Job Responsibilities:
Stakeholder Communication: Understand data content and business requirements by communicating effectively with stakeholders.
Consultancy and Development: Partner with the business to provide consultancy and translate business needs into the design and development of tools, techniques, metrics, and dashboards for insights and data visualization.
Maintenance and Improvement: Troubleshoot, debug, maintain, and improve existing reporting solutions.
Technology Exploration:Demonstrate the ability to explore and quickly grasp new technologies to advance varied initiatives.
Business Analysis: Drive analysis that provides meaningful insights on business strategies.
Data Quality Management: Ensure understanding and adherence to principles of data quality management, including metadata, lineage, and business definitions.
Data Quality Monitoring: Build and execute tools to monitor and report on data quality.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- AWS Environment: Experience working in AWS environments such as S3, Snowflake, EC2, and APIs.
- Databricks: Experience working with Databricks.
- Coding Skills: Proficiency in coding languages such as Python and SQL.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving work environment.
- BI Tools: Experience with BI tools like Tableau, Quicksight, Excel Pivot, and VLookup.
- Data Quality Tools: Previous experience building and executing tools to monitor and report on data quality.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Learning and Sharing: Openness to learning about new technologies and sharing knowledge with others.
